The Weldon Exhibition includes a tiger pillow which is a cast ceramic form and was traditionally used in some Chinese homes to ward off evil and influence your dreams. Use a similar process to create your own contemporary interpretation of something that you would like to cast multiples of using slip or liquid clay. Learn slipcasting techniques and mold-making process. Create your own plaster mold and use it to cast your form multiple times. Then your work will be fired in the studio’s kiln.
