Ladies’ covered paint box of solid light blue jasper with a darker blue jasper dip and applied white jasper relief decoration, oval in shape, the main body with stippled ground and decorated in relief with scenes from “Setting Out on the Hunt,” “Bringing Home the Game,” and “The Arts,” with groups of putti with dogs and hunting accoutrements, carrying game, and playing instruments, the slightly domed cover with acanthus border and sunflower finial with applied leaves against stippled ground; the interior outfitted with two white paint palettes (not original) and a solid blue jasper holder with twelve small white paint cups (also not original).
