In the yard behind the building, a woman is hanging laundry on a line.

This image is created with black ink on paper. At the right of this print, a woman sweeps the ground. To her left is a domestic building that is missing siding and appears to be boarded up in places. Another figure sits on its porch, and a fence surrounds the property behind the building. That fence encloses another building that is behind the sweeping woman. Houses rise on a hillside in the distant background.
This black and white photograph represents a doorway and wrought iron railing in New York City. The banister of the railing enters the frame in the bottom left and ends before the door. The door is darkly colored and propped open.
