Art On The Rocks: June 2018 Recap

/ Art On The Rocks

The first Art On The Rocks presented by Dale’s Seasoning of the summer took place on June 8. Packing in over 1,200 guests, the Museum served up a Friday night filled with entertainment through artist collaborations, interactive performances, food, specialty cocktails, and more!

In the Museum’s lobby, guests were encouraged to grab a paint brush and help complete an interactive mural designed by artist John Lytle Wilson. Meanwhile, the breezy outdoor Sculpture Garden became a temporary studio for artist William McLure, who captivated guests with a live painting demonstration on a giant canvas. Installations designed by Zoe’s in Forest Park and Shoppe served as photo backdrops where guests lined up to take pictures all night long. Luminarts Entertainment lit up the night sky with mesmerizing LED dance performances. Capping off the night, eight-piece wonder-band The Suffers delivered an electrifying, soulful performance on the Upper Plaza.

Missed the party? Don’t fret! Art On The Rocks will be back Friday, July 27, and Friday, August 17. Tickets are available here
