Studio school flyerSchool is back in session at the Museum and it’s shaping up to be an exciting semester! Our schedule includes classes for every age and experience level. Whether you call yourself an artist or are just looking for an artistic way to unwind with friends, we have a class for you. We’re here to help you discover your creative side!
While topics vary from class to class, Studio School students can always expect to:
  1. Be inspired by fine art from around the world.
An art class at the BMA means you have access to our diverse collection of more than 26,000 paintings, sculpture, prints, drawings, and decorative arts dating from ancient to modern times.
  2. Discuss diverse artistic mediums and approaches.
There’s no one right way to create art, so let your artistic freedom fly! Whether learning to paint, print, or sculpt, we’ll help you discover your inner artist.
  3. Learn from highly qualified artists and art historians.
Our instructors are trained educators and experienced artists who are here to help you learn new artistic skills or refresh existing knowledge.
  4. Create using professional materials and tools.
During our studio classes, students have access to the same tools and materials the professionals use, making the studio experience as enriching as possible.
  5. Have a great time.
These are the classes you don’t have to stress about! Studio School is all about having fun while learning something new.
