Kids and their families have so much to explore at the BMA! Travel to faraway lands, make history come alive, and discover the world of art together in our galleries and family spaces. From family tours and art activities to cultural celebrations on special Family Days, there’s always something new to do. Make plans to visit during one of our many family programs, or stop by anytime for free fun in Bart’s ArtVenture and Bart’s Lair Under the Stairs.

The Studio School will focus on a process, theme, or idea found in our galleries. Be inspired by different makers to create your own artwork while exploring a range of approaches to expression. This week we will focus on painting.

$15 per class, pre-registration only. All materials are included. Receive a 20% discount when you sign up for all 4 fall classes for 9-12 grade. Museum Members receive an additional 20% off each registration.

Caribbean Festival in Linn Park, 11:00 – 6:00 with Museum Family Activities 10:00 – 3:00

The Museum is proud to partner with the 5th Annual Caribbean Festival in Linn Park, a day of celebration featuring Caribbean food, music, costumes, and more. Just across the street from Linn Park, the Museum will offer family-friendly activities, including make-your-own musical instruments, a flag-making art activity, and a chance to meet live animals native to the Caribbean. Look for our tents outside the Museum’s front entrance!
