Ron Platt, Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art
Charlie Lucas’s art is packed with meaning: in all of the work he creates there are references to his personal history and/or ideas about social events and conditions. Platt will give a walkthrough of Lucas’s outdoor exhibition, during which he will discuss Lucas’s artistic lineage as well as some of the personal symbols and narratives at the heart of the artist’s assembled sculptures. |
