$15 ($10 for Members) // Main Lobby In 2004, collector Richard Baron Cohen commissioned a dinner service from the Royal Copenhagen Porcelain Manufactory in Denmark. Each piece is hand-painted with a portrait of a hippopotamus. This exhibition features 60 pieces from the service. Curator Anne Forschler-Tarrasch focuses on the hippos - who they are, where they live, and the story behind the commission. She details photographer Sarah Louise Galbraith's travels around the world to capture images of the hippos used to decorate the service. |
